Dorm Vision: To glorify God by working together to invest in and equip the next generation of the Cambodian church
We do this through providing housing for university students coming from the province to the city to study. During their four years of university, they are provided with a safe place to stay, and walking alongside them in every area of life to help strengthen and encourage them in their walk with the Lord.
The World Team Dormitory for Cambodian University students exist to create followers of Jesus who become disciple makers by acting upon what Jesus taught and lived-sharing the transforming truths of the Gospel with others.
Praises:
- An answer to prayer through my walking buddy
- Six new students coming to the dorm!
- A new year of Girls Space and maturity/growth seen
- Our students had an amazing time at the dorm retreat! (Watch for the October dorm newsletter for updates on that)
Pray for Beth McCloskey:
- The Pchum Ben holiday is quicky approaching, and it's one of my least favorite seasons in Cambodia--a time when its is believed that spirits of the dead return to the living world and families make offerings for them
- Please pray for protection against spiritual attacks and for our students as they discern how to love their families well while not fully participating in all that this holiday brings
